Can Yılmaz is a partner at YılmazÜlker. His practice primarily focuses on complex corporate and commercial disputes across a wide range of industries, including energy, mining, aviation, technology, financial services, healthcare, and life sciences.

Can has extensive experience representing clients in international arbitration and court proceedings, with a focus on post-acquisition disputes, joint ventures, and shareholder conflicts.

He regularly appears before state courts and arbitral tribunals under major institutional rules, including the ICC, LCIA, VIAC, SIAC, SMA, ITOTAM, and ISTAC. He also has a strong track record of securing interim relief, freezing orders and handling proceedings concerning the recognition, enforcement, and annulment of foreign judgments and arbitral awards.

Alongside his practice as counsel, Can also frequently sits as an arbitrator. He is a member of the executive committee of Young ITOTAM, and a member of YIAG and ICC YAF. He regularly gives lectures on international arbitration as a visiting speaker at law faculties of various universities in Istanbul.
